A Brief History
In 2021, a progressive step was taken when KAG decided to include trainee representation in its fold. Now, there's a place for both Nephrology and Kidney transplant surgical trainees to make their mark.
Why should you consider this role?
Voice and Influence: As a trainee representative, you become a voice for the future clinical workforce, directly influencing national policy decisions connected to kidney transplantation.
Strategic Insight: Gain firsthand strategic knowledge that you can cascade down to fellow trainees.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be ST5+;
Should possess clinical and research expertise or interest in kidney transplantation;
Commitment to attend 3-4 KAG meetings annually. This includes one face-to-face meeting and 2-3 virtual sessions;
Current membership with the Herrick committee is not a prerequisite.
Application Process:
Each applicant will have to write a personal statement (maximum 250 words) detailing their eagerness to join KAG.
